AQSIQ Renewal: When the validity date is reached, an application for renewal may be submitted to maintain the certificate/registration for another 1 or 3 years. The renewal procedure will be according to the registration number validity period. The registration number and the company name must again be indicated when submitting the renewal application form.

Renewal Categories

• Cooked, Chilled, Frozen, Pickled.
• Beef, Lamb, Pork, Venison, Poultry.
• (Horse meat only from Mongolia).
• Beef must be traceable to the birth farm using a unique identifier, or if imported to the first place of residence or port of entry.
• Carcasses, beef, and beef products must be uniquely identified and controlled up until the time of shipment.

Correct Renewal Process

AQSIQ will keep a file of applications of exporters who have submitted complete filing information and send approval information to the China customs clearance system.

• Company business documents
• Registration number
• Renewal Application Form

A list of filed manufacturer / exporters and agents with their names and countries / regions shall be generated by the AQSIQ registration management system and made public on AQSIQ and GACC database.

Note: AQSIQ strongly recommends that applicant renewal directly and do not leave this renewal application process to their importer or distributor. Importers require your registration number to complete China customs clearance, Should you change your distributor, or have multiple distributors, they may be reluctant to share your registration number and authorization password if circumstances change.
