China-Sri lanka Free Trade Agreements
On January 16-19, 2017, the fifth round of negotiations between China and Sri Lanka’s Free Trade Area was held in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
In the current round of negotiations, the two sides exchanged views on the issues of trade in goods, trade in services, investment, economic and technical cooperation, rules of origin, customs procedures and trade facilitation, technical barriers to trade and sanitary and phytosanitary measures and trade remedies. Made positive progress.
